On the premise of protecting the ecological environment of the forest, Forest Therapy aims to promote public health and well-being through utilizing forest space,ecological resources, landscape resources, food resources, drug resources,cultural resources intelligently, combining Public Health,Preventive Medicine and etc., and also performing activities that are related to rehabilitation, health care and natural healing. Green and low-carbon footprint are characteristic of Forest Therapy.
西北农林科技大学秦岭研究院森林康养研究中心（以下简称“研究中心”）以秦岭森林资源为依托，以森林康养资源挖掘与康养功能定量化测评、森林康养产品开发及产业推动、森林康养基地规划及“森林康养+”乡村振兴模式构建研究为三大主要内容，通过科学监测、评估、研发及成果转化，以期在秦岭生态修复的大背景下，科学合理利用森林空间，探索秦岭森林康养产业和乡村振兴融合发展的实现途径，构建“森林康养+”乡村振兴和特色小镇建设模式，践行习近平总书记“绿水青山就是金山银山”理念，最终实现以森林康养产业带动乡村经济的健康持续增长，助推新时代乡村环境高质量发展，不断满足人民日益增长的对美好生活的向往。
Relying on the forest resources of Qinling Mountain, Northwest A&F University Qinling Forest Therapy Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the Research Center) focuses on three research contents mainly. They are: 1) exploring resources related to forest therapy and constructing quantitative evaluation of therapeutic functions; 2) developing and promoting products related to forest therapy; 3) planning the base of forest therapy and establish the “forest therapy +” Rural Revitalization Model. The Research Center aims to explore the path to achieve the integrative development of forest therapy industry in Qinling Mountain and rural revitalization, construct the “forest therapy +” rural revitalization mode and characteristic town establishment mode, fulfill the idea of “Clear waters and green mountains are as good as mountains of gold and silver” proposed by President Xi Jinping, ultimately achieve the sustainable growth o rural economy driven by forest therapy industry, boost high-quality development of rural environment in the new era and constantly satisfy the public’s growing yearning for a better life through scientific monitoring, evaluation, research, development, result transformation and use the forest resources scientifically and rationally under the background of the ecological restoration of Qinling Montain.
